Welcome to MISERICORDIA

           "Misericordia" is a word which has its roots from Italian and Latin, which translates as "mercy”. It is a trust initiated by Bro. Johnny in 2008, with help from his friends. We sponsor education for around 15 - 20 children every year. In the year 2015, we officially registered the Trust, because we wanted to make sure that the help reaches the ones who are in need of it and also to the ones who deserve it. We also wanted our work affairs to be made as transparent as possible. As of now, the trust is located in "Machamthodu", a remote area in the civil district of Palakkadu, in Kerala. Currently, with the help of Mr. Isac Thomas, we have started a new house to help some underprivileged kids by sponsoring their education. In the near future, we also plan to sponsor education for up to 50 children as day scholars and 100 children as out scholars. We also intend to start a home for senior citizens, who have been discarded by their family, and commission a hospital for the deprived people in the vicinity.
